Anodizing is an electrolytic passivation process that is used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of aluminum. Aluminium alloys are anodized to increase corrosion resistance and surface hardness. The electro coloring process can be added for coloring anodized parts.

Typical type of anodizing:

  • Chromic acid anodizing : Highly oxidizing and highly corrosion resistant
  • Sulfuric acid anodizing :The most common and widely used for coloring anodised process

Typical anodizing process is Pre-Treatment –> Water rinsing –> Etching –> Desmutting –> Anodizing –> Coloring –> Sealing
